Stone built house set on the edge of a village in the Mani Peninsula of the Peloponnese Region of Greece. Designed and built for a private client respecting the local context using traditional local stone construction methods. The design incorporates an arched arcade to provide maximum shade to the terrace and house. From simple forms a complex use of space is achieved that maximised the surrounding views.
